Terms of use

Last updated:

These are the rules for using InTimeQ. By joining a queue, scanning a QR, or registering a place, you agree to them.

They are written in plain English. If something is unclear, write to hello@intimeq.com.

Who we are

“InTimeQ,” “we,” and “our” refer to the team operating the InTimeQ product. Registered entity details are on the footer of this site and on our invoices.

What the service does

InTimeQ is a digital queue that runs on phones. It lets customers join a line without physically standing in it, and lets businesses call customers when it is their turn.

What you agree to as a customer

  • Give us a real phone number.
  • Not abuse the service. Abuse includes, without limitation, using the service in a way that disadvantages other users or circumvents fair-ordering rules.
  • Understand that a queue is ordered by arrival time and that we do not sell priority.
  • Accept that a business may refuse service for legitimate reasons (dress code, documents missing, etc.) — we do not force a business to serve you just because you are next in a queue.

What you agree to as a vendor

  • Run the queue fairly. Do not call a later token before an earlier one unless there is a documented reason.
  • Do not use customer data for marketing without the customer's explicit opt-in.
  • Accept that we can suspend your access for abuse, per the process in the next section.

Suspension and termination

We can suspend an account for abuse of the service. Serious cases result in termination.

You can terminate your account at any time from the app. Terminating your account anonymises your history — it does not delete the vendor's operational record.

Limits

  • A reasonable limit applies to how many queues a single customer may join at the same time; the current limit is shown in the app.
  • Vendor accounts are subject to usage limits appropriate to their use case. Contact us if your needs change.
  • We can cap throughput to protect the service for everyone.

Our obligations (and the limits of them)

We will do our best to keep the service running and the data secure. We do not guarantee zero downtime. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance. Unscheduled outages are posted to the status page.

We are not liable for consequential losses arising from a queue being delayed or a notification being missed. Nothing here removes any right you have under mandatory law (consumer protection, DPDP, etc.).

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we notify you in the app before the change takes effect. The “last updated” date at the top of this page moves whenever the terms change.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes not resolvable by negotiation go to the courts of Ghaziabad.
