Arjun, Sunday afternoon

Arjun wanted a haircut. The match started at four.

A three-chair salon with customers waiting on a bench at the side.
“Three chairs. Twenty-one heads waiting. Your match starts at four.”

The India vs Australia match started at four. Arjun was due a haircut; his wife had mentioned it twice that week. He walked into the three-chair salon at 2:05 p.m. Eleven heads ahead.

Twelve if you count the small boy near the mirror.

By 3:00 p.m. he had watched the first chair change twice. By 3:30 p.m. his wife had texted four times about missing the toss. By 3:47 p.m. he gave up and left. He got home with fourteen minutes to spare and still-long hair.

This is why we built InTimeQ.

Arjun books his turn from his couch. He walks in when it’s time. He’s in a chair in twelve minutes. He’s home for the toss.

Your weekend is not queue time.
